I’m Shardule and this is what I’m burning about
My point here being that seeing the success of the Patriots, I think individual superstars are able to put their egos aside and want to be on victorious teams. Since the NFL is a team game, this is really the only sport which operates that way. Alex Rodriguez nor Kobe Bryant would ever make it in the NFL.
Ocho has a $35 mill. contract through 2011, though I think the Pats will junk Stallworth after this year (his contract is ridiculously backloaded), and trade their #5 pick in the draft in order for the Bengals to pick up Darren McFadden (who could replace a beaten Rudi Johnson [Chris Perry and Kenny Watson notwithstanding]) or Jake Long. Remember that the Pats have the 49ers 1st round pick, and currently, that would give the Pats the #5 pick in the draft. [I think the Pats may have to throw Stallworth in the deal as well. So we'll see what happens.]

I’ve come to realize that no politics is perfect. Duh. But I look at policy details more than most of my friends. And it’s really a waste of time. Don’t be like me. Be informed. But don’t be obsessed. It’s not healthy. That being said, I’m still sticking with Obama. He has been honest on the stump. I saw an interview in which he stated that the healthcare proposals submitted by him, Edwards, and Clinton are not very different. I know it’s not the most earth-shaking revelation but I would be hard pressed to see whether Clinton or Edwards would agree with that sentiment. The difference between Hillary Clinton and Barack in regards to ther personalities and what each would bring to the Oval Office is too great for me to justify voting for Dennis Kucinich, who ideally, I may fundamentally agree more with, as I have noted previously.
We’ll see in January whether polls matter or not. Currently, in Iowa, Clinton has an approximate 32 - 22 - 17 lead over Obama and Edwards. Don’t you think those who support Edwards would support Obama instead of Clinton? I think so. It’s also funny that THE most experienced candidates, Governor Bill Richardson and Senator Joe Biden, are trailing in the back of the pack. Funny how things work sometimes.

Gmail is improved. Just look at the upper right of your inbox. It says ‘Older Version’ (at least in Firefox).

I’ve been without a phone charger for a week and a half now. I wish I’d have gotten to talk to my family, friends, girlfriend, etc. as it has been lonely around here. That being said, I think I’ll have time to pick a phone charger up on Thursday. So one more day without phone calls.

Today I made a presentation worth 45% of my grade. I gave out candy to everyone and a dollar to each person who answered a question I posed. Needless to say, everyone loved the presentation. It’s funny. The TA reads the paper and is clearly well-informed. The main prof just asks tangential random questions. I do not know if he reads the paper the students present on. If he does, then he does a darn good job at making students look like they have NOT read the papers one bit.

I tried a vegan butterfinger milkshake. I almost died. Apparently, it’s one cup vanilla soymilk, one cup vanilla soy ice cream, Hershey’s syrup, and a dash of peanut butter. Definitely worth the $3.50 for the 10-oz (small) shake at www.vivalasvegans.com…
Be safe. Be happy. Love one another. I’m out.
